Hey guys are you ready for the weekend? I know I am! Because now in the UK the restrictions for dining inside restaurants has been lifted since Tuesday, which means more excuses to buy fashionable pieces for our wardrobes to celebrate not staying 24/7 in pyjamas or sweats.
Below I have hand-picked ten items that I’ve come across this May which I am drooling over for this summer, which I wish were part of my own wardrobe and you never know I might be enticed – that basically means they are already on their way with next day delivery!
1. DUO TONE FUNKY SUNGLASSES

The colour combination is on point and I already know which outfit I would wear them with here. They look have a similar style to Loewe Paula’s sunglasses which were a big hit back in 2019. They are clearly a statement accessorise piece to add to your wardrobe for more fun and vibrancy. I literally will race to but these as I can see them being rushed off into the sad sign that say sold out.
2. VINTAGE LOOK DENIM SHORTS

I have been trying to find a pair of these styled denim shorts for years! I have found a few in vintage stores, but they are normally to small for my curvy body. They only have sizes small and medium and if you can also purchase them black, but I personally love the blue ones as they could easily have a more vintage took to them.
3. GOLD MALACHITE SIGNET RING

Recently I have been purchasing my earrings from Missoma as I am a gold jewellery gal, but also because I am hyper allergic to earrings which are not silver or gold plated. I am investing in statement rings and I adore the colour of the malachite against the gold.
4. RAMEN GRAPHIC TEE

Graphic tee’s go with everything and they are perfect for getting dressed quickly but still pulling off that stylish day to day look. I collect graphic tees as they are easy to wear with anything in your wardrobe – they would go perfect with those frayed denim shorts from Storets.
5. HANDMADE CROCHET HAT

I can predict that crochet hats will be the ‘it’ accessory this summer. Even though I love colourful items in my wardrobe, I also enjoy some nude coloured tones for the summer as it complements against my tanned skin tone.
6. ORANGE PUFF SLEEVE DRESS

This dress would be perfect for a vacation evening dinner watching the sunset over the aquamarine sea. The vibrant orange colour is stunning, the puff sleeves are making me scream hell yes and I’m loving that you could either wear it off the shoulder for an evening look or on the shoulder for a brisk day exploring on your vacation. I would 100% style it with a mid-waist belt.
7. OVERSIZED PRINT TOTE BAG

The best way to keep your outfit stylish as well as saving on money, space and the planet is purchasing a tote bag. I can’t express how much they’ve helped me with shopping or dropping off eBay deliveries. I prefer bigger tote bags – because I always buy more than I anticipated.
8. COLOUR BLOCK FLEECE

This jumper is perfect for these unpredictable British summer’s, as you can easily pop it in your bag and it will keep you super warm with its soft fleece material – so you don’t need to bring a jacket too. 90’s inspirational fashion is a huge part of my style and I love the colour choices Topshop has used. I would easily style this with either a patterned satin skirt or a plain black skirt and some New Balance 530 sneakers.
9. 90’S STYLE CHUNKY SANDALS

These sandals are giving me a huge flashback Friday to Friends as I could easily see Rachel wearing a pair of these sandals. I adore the toe divider and they are great quality – they are a sandal which can go with many outfits in your wardrobe.
10. EVENING SATIN SLIP DRESS

This bronze toned slip dress is a beautiful fit on all body types. What I love about this dress is the button detail and the breast fitting isn’t too revealing it makes it more classy. You could easily dress it up in the evening with sandal heels and a minimalistic gold necklace.
What do you think of my personal picks? Which was your favourite piece out of the ten? I would love to hear what you think, so feel free to leave a comment below.
