Dan Clemt aka Mr Pastel

Happy Sunday everyone! Today is the first post of Style Explorer: Style Search. Every Sunday I will be choosing a fashion blogger/ content creator who’s style and work I truly admire, as I think it’s important to acknowledge other creatives work – because I know being a fashion blogger myself how much effort, thought and time can go into a photo or 20 second video/reel.

The first person of ‘Style Explorer: Style Search’ is Dan Clemt aka Mr Pastel. He has been rocking colourful outfits which he cleverly combines with his backgrounds, locations and even dyes his hair to match his outfits. 100% dedication!! Even the other day he just reached 100k on his Instagram.

LOCATIONS

The fact that he matches the colours from his outfit so accurately to the backgrounds he discovers are so on point!

COLOUR CONTRAST

The colour contrasting not only within his outfits but also the combination with the background helps bring out the colours hue within the outfit.

LAYERING

Dan layers his clothing brilliantly; I especially love the double layering of the coats as it creates a more oversized feel to the outfit.

DETAILS

The small details from top to bottom that he’s combined with the backgrounds and locations compliment the full outfit. Dan’s thought out everything very precisely and it’s definitely payed off.

HAIR

His dedication of dyeing his hair to his outfit is WOW! No wonder his nickname is Mr Pastel for his 10/10 for the commitment game!
